Since the levy failed in May, The Board of Education has selected a new superintendent and proposed a new Board of Education Excess Levy. The proposed Levy will restore FULL funding to the Parks and Libraries, including repaying equalization payments that had previously been withheld, and it supports the Schools fully, too! Now it’s up to us to get the Levy passed during the General Election on November 5!
So we’re back, and ready to kick this thing into overdrive! Be sure to check out our previous blog posts to see our journey and how we all came together to get to this point. Between now and the election, check back with us to see some things you can do to spread the word to vote YES on the Levy. This is a general election this time, so there will be more voices to be heard. Do what you can to have those voices shout in support of our Parks, Libraries, and Schools!
